Eat Street is a good concept wherein you go to one place and fulfill all your junk food cravings all under one roof. You get everything you can think off and can enjoy it by the lake. You can chill and hangout and also munch on at the same time.
I happen to be here in October during my stay in Hyderabad and came here just after visiting the Lumbini Park. It is a good place and wish we have one such place here in Kolkata too.
The Eat Street comprises off many small joints, take away counters and self-service places. From CCD to Subway you have them all. From chaats to full fledged meals you have them all.
We happen to enjoy from two of such counters namely Urban Eats and Chaat Room.
CHAAT ROOM
Chaat room covers almost 40% of the Eat Street and has much to offer and basically everything you can think of munching and eating.
We ordered Chole Bhature, Jalebi, Gulab Jamun, Aloo Tikki Chole, Papri chaat, sev puri. Now thats so much for four of us and it was awesome experience. Basically the whole concept is of eating junk in one place and we were munching one thing after the other. They are professionals and know what and how to make.
A must visit if you happen to be in Hyderabad near the necklace area. Amazing food and so many options with good cleanliness.
URBAN EATS
Now this is a thing which will actually tell you how to make Rs.50/- from Rs.2/-. Simply a unique idea and a great one too. For a potato of Rs.2/- and some masala, oil and stick addition the whole concept becomes a thing of Rs.50/-. In fact more costlier than the packet of chips.
People who know about this and are regulars know how to get it crisp or else the guy simply gives a not crispy stuff to the newbies.
It tastes good and it has to as everything of potato does. You can give it a try. It finishes off even before you start. lols.
